Thanks to HIROX's original mount (HIROX
Mount) with remote CCD and light cables(2m), handheld and/or contact
application is possible. Since the lens and sample move together
simultaneously in contact application, the image is relatively stable
despite of higher magnification. Contact
application are useful for non-destructive samples like skin, hair etc. to
something which cannot be set under the mounted lens such as large printed
materials, surface of airplanes, non-destructive artifacts, etc.
