The core strength of HIROX, as an optical lens maker, lies in its
"observation ability". individual still images cannot represent
3-D geometry information. This is the only possible with the observation of
moving pictures. The reality up to now was to sacrifice moving dynamics,
because it was difficult to output large volume high resolution image as
moving pictures. KH-3000 is the first unit to successfully realize super
high resolution and moving picture output at the same time. The resolution
is a 15 frames/sec (double buffers) output in UXGA(1600 x 1200 pixels)
format. The diagrams below and 3 moving pictures show the differences of
moving dynamics. You'll find not only speed (frames/sec) but also double
buffers capability both significantly improving picture quality.
Furthermore, KH-3000 is equipped with an S-video full moving picture output
capability.

You can check the degree of focus in the 'Blue Bar'
on the right side of the screen. It enables you to specify the focus area
choosing any position and size on the screen, allowing you to check the
degree of focus of the area not only by the image itself but also in
numeric terms. It is possible to measure the height with Z-stage usage.
The color temperature of the metal halide lamp is 5600K (compared
to a color temperature for halogen lamps of 3000K), which is much closer to
natural light source with a well-balanced spectrum distribution. Its higher
color renditrion capability allows it to reproduce
samples in their originals vivid colors. Also, its luminance efficiency is
five times higher than ordinary halogen lamps, meaning a 21W halide lamp is
brighter than a conventional 100W halogen lamp.
